Using the app

Retro Expense Tracker is a personal expense-recording tool. You may use it for lawful personal purposes. Do not misuse the app, interfere with its operation, or infringe other people's rights. These terms apply to use of the app; mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.

Your records and backups

You control the records you enter. Check amounts and totals before relying on them. Records are stored on your device, with user-initiated file backup and restore. Keep your own backups: clearing storage, uninstalling, losing a device or restoring a backup can remove or replace records. JCStudio cannot recover records it does not hold.

Advertising and external services

The app may show Google AdMob advertising when enabled. Advertising availability and content depend on third parties. External websites and services have their own terms and privacy policies. Your privacy choices do not prevent use of the ledger. See our Privacy Policy.

No financial advice

The app helps organize information you enter. It does not provide banking, accounting, tax, investment or other professional advice. Consult a qualified professional when appropriate.

Availability and responsibility

We aim to keep the app useful, but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent allowed by applicable law, the app is provided as available without additional warranties. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. You remain responsible for protecting your device and checking your records.

Changes and contact
